Who will win the 2010 six nations?

Written by Man Points

The Six Nations championship 2010 is almost upon us.  After the Christmas period there is just over one month until the championship begins with the first match taking place on the 6th February at Croke Park where Ireland are at home to Italy.

The team here at man-points have compiled their predictions into this article of who we think will win the Championship this time round.  With Ireland claiming their first grand slam victory in 61 years last time round and performing strongly throughout the autumn internationals do we think Ireland have what it takes to get two six nations championships in a row?

How to Beat the Bookies - Lewis Macmillan

Written by Man Points

Some people think gambling is a waste of money because the bookies always know best! To a point they're right. Top 10 Current Rugby Union Players

Written by Man Points

The top 10 current rugby union players today as decided by the team here at man-points.

With many commentators speculating that Lee Byrne is the world's new best rugby union player and others still sticking with Brian O'Driscoll and Johnny Wilkinson, we here at man-points decided to form our own list of rugby union's current best 10.  We'll start with number 10 and work backwards towards our number 1.

10. Matt Giteau, Flyhalf, Australia

Apart from Matt Giteau's appalling performance against the Scotland XIV on 22nd November 2009, he rarely lets his side down.  Matt Giteau is the most expensive player in the world and as a result is under constant pressure to perform.  He is undoubtedly the Aussie's best player and consistently delivers world class performances for his side.  At only 5ft 10" and 85kg he has the ability to break through the line almost at will.  He is renowned as a fantastic kicker and is arguably Australia's best and has had 75 test caps for the Wallabies and is set to earn more as he is still relatively young at only 27 years old.
