Clearing 10 inch deep snow in Baltic conditions

Due to the heavy snow our cars got snowed in in our garden and required to be dug out. We had previously done this when the snow was only 9 inches deep but since another 10 inches got dumped on us I decided to undertake this heroic task.

The road and parking area was completely and can't be distinguished from the grass in those photos but there is a hell of a lot of it. So I grabbed my trusty weapon and proceeded to dig out the road.

After clearing about half of it a new weapon appeared on the scene. So I did when any sensible man would have done and threw away the shovel and hijacked the tractor.

Deep Snow Is No Match For It

The deep snow was no match for it and the job was completed in half the time. I used the shovel to dig out round the cars as night started to fall and could proudly say the manly task was completed.

This surely has to be worth some points for , a) unleashing the guns to clear away deep snow using a shovel, and b) Having the common sense to throw away the shovel and hijack a tractor when the opportunity arises.
